Description

EV-PTZ88I-30X-H is a professional 8MP high-speed dome PTZ IP camera designed for advanced security monitoring, wide-area surveillance, and intelligent threat detection. It combines high-resolution imaging, powerful 30X optical zoom, high-speed pan-tilt movement, dual-light night vision, AI-based detection, two-way voice communication, and built-in PoE support in a durable 6-inch metal housing.

With support for resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 25fps, the camera delivers detailed and clear video footage for monitoring people, vehicles, entrances, roads, parking areas, industrial facilities, commercial properties, campuses, warehouses, and other large surveillance environments. Multiple supported resolutions allow users to balance image quality, network bandwidth, and storage requirements according to their installation needs.

The camera features a 30X optical zoom lens with a focal length range of 4.5mm–135mm. This wide focal range allows the camera to provide a broad viewing angle for general monitoring while also delivering detailed close-up views of distant objects. The horizontal viewing angle ranges from 55.4° at wide angle to 2.9° at telephoto, making the camera suitable for both wide-area observation and long-distance identification.

The high-speed PTZ mechanism supports continuous 360° horizontal rotation and 0–90° vertical movement. Manual horizontal rotation speeds can reach up to 200° per second, while vertical rotation speeds can reach up to 80° per second. This allows security operators to quickly move the camera toward an area of interest. The camera also supports automatic cruise, auto line scanning, two-point scanning, guard position functionality, proportional deceleration, and up to 128 preset positions for accurate and repeatable monitoring.

The EV-PTZ88I-30X-H includes six AI intelligent detection functions: line-crossing detection, vehicle retrograde detection, staff absence detection, loitering detection, area intrusion detection, and vehicle illegal parking detection. These functions allow operators to define monitoring rules and receive alarms when specific activities occur. For example, the camera can trigger an alarm when a person crosses a virtual warning line, enters a restricted area, remains in an area longer than the configured time, leaves an area for longer than the specified period, drives in the opposite direction, or parks in a restricted area beyond the permitted time.

For nighttime surveillance, the camera uses four laser lights and six dual-core lights to provide an infrared night vision distance of up to 150 meters. Smart IR technology helps reduce infrared overexposure, while the automatic ICR infrared filter switching system supports true day-and-night monitoring. These features help maintain useful video quality in both daytime and low-light environments.

The camera supports S265, H.265, and H.264 video encoding formats. S265 efficient compression helps reduce bandwidth usage and storage requirements while maintaining suitable video quality. The camera also supports 3D digital noise reduction and DWDR, helping improve image clarity in challenging lighting conditions. Automatic electronic image adjustment and multiple image settings allow users to configure brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation, and chroma according to the monitoring environment.

The EV-PTZ88I-30X-H supports two-way voice intercom through its built-in microphone and speaker. It also includes a built-in PoE interface, allowing power and network connectivity to be delivered through a compatible Ethernet connection. The camera supports P2P, ONVIF access, NTP service, and standard network protocols, making it suitable for integration with compatible network video recorders and surveillance platforms.

Built with a 6-inch metal housing and an IP66 protection rating, the camera is designed for suitable outdoor installations where protection against dust and water is required. It supports operation in temperatures from −20°C to 60°C and includes a built-in anti-surge and anti-lightning protection device. Its power-off protection function preserves internal settings and allows the camera to resume the action performed before a power failure.
